This is the agreement between you and Course Correct. We have tried to write it so you can actually read it. Using Course Correct means you accept it.
Course Correct is a study application. It teaches a subject through lessons, practice and adaptive review, adjusting what it shows you based on how you answer.
Subject material is organised into packs — a pack is one subject, such as a particular exam.
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you use; anyone who can sign into it can reach your Course Correct account.
One account is for one person. Do not share it.
You must be 16 or older.
You buy access to one pack for a fixed period. Nothing renews. A purchase gives you that pack for the number of days shown at checkout, after which access ends. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel. If you want a second pack, that is a second purchase, with its own period.
All sales are final once you have used more than 10% of a pack. Pack content cannot be given back once it has been seen, which is why the limit is what you have used rather than how long you have had it.
We will refund a purchase only if all of the following are true:
A processing fee of 10%, or $10, whichever is greater, is deducted from any refund we grant.
Free trials are not refundable, because nothing was paid for them.
When we refund a purchase, access to that pack ends immediately. The same applies if you dispute a charge with your bank: access ends when the dispute is opened, not when it is decided.
If something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, none of the above is meant to trap you — write to us and we will sort it out.
Your legal rights. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, and in some other places, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Nothing in these terms removes that right. Where that right applies, asking us for immediate access to a pack — and then using it — may reduce or end it, and we will tell you so at checkout before you agree.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Your answers and notes remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them so the product can do its job — adapt to you, schedule your review, show your progress. Nothing more. See the Privacy Policy.
Course Correct does not promise you will pass anything. It is a study tool. Outcomes depend on you, on the exam, and on much that is outside our control. Any claim about effectiveness is a description of the method, not a guarantee of your result.
We work to keep content accurate, and packs are reviewed before publication, but we do not warrant that every item is free of error. Tell us when you find one and we will fix it.
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; things break and get maintained.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam results, lost opportunities or lost profit. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
You may stop using Course Correct and delete your account whenever you like — email us and we will erase it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering it, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for — the 10% limit in section 4 does not apply when the reason you stopped is us.
We may change these terms. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect, rather than editing this page quietly. Continuing to use Course Correct after that means you accept the change.
Course Correct is operated by JayTeeSF, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located there. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, nor of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that right cannot be excluded.
